Thanks for sharing your story man. I've been trying to quit vaping cannabis for months now, so I can imagine what you're going through is very difficult but I know you'll be ok. I'll keep you in my prayers as always. 💙
Yeah, that's true. I've also struggled with alcohol as well. While cannabis is less harmful of course, it's still basically just trading one addiction for another. At the end of the day, none of these things will make our problems disappear or bring us true peace. 💙
It’s really brave of you to be honest with us about your addiction. If I’m being completely honest, I understand how it’s like. My father is an alcoholic and it was something that was prevalent throughout my life. It’s always in the back of my mind whenever I drink if I’ll be just like him. I tend not to drink much alcohol, only rarely do I drink. I hope you’ll get over these withdrawals symptoms soon and you’ll always be in my prayers. 😊
No he isn’t in my life, hasn’t been since 2008. When I was still living in New York, we went to a party somewhere and he got really drunk, became belligerent, we got home and he started attacking my mom. The cops were called and he got taken away. He was later deported to Mexico. Sorry to trauma dump. 🥺
Idk, last time I heard anything about my dad, he hasn’t changed at all. Heard he got remarried but I do not if that’s true or not. I would love for this to change but that’s on him to do so. I do get sad whenever I think of him but he has his life in Mexico. Oh and I haven’t even talked to my dad’s side of the family, they all hate my mom for what happened. So 🤷♂️
Don’t apologize - I asked! I’m sorry to hear that though. Do you want things to change or are you at a point where you are over it? 2008 is quite a while ago now 🤯

Thank you Brandon, and you’re in mine too. It’s not easy but it is doable. Just… feels like a lot when going through it.

Thanks man, I appreciate the comment. Is your father still in your life? Is he sober now?
